About Me

I am a Registered Psychologist who was born and raised in the Grande Prairie area. I attended the Grande Prairie Regional College and finished my studies at the University of Northern British Columbia in Prince George BC. I have a Bachelor of Science in Psychology (2008) and a Master of Education in Counselling (2013).

I have had the pleasure of working and learning in many counselling, assessment and diagnostic settings. Completing dozens of assessments I have had the pleasure of meeting so many different kinds of learners. Helping them use their strengths and accommodate their challenges to achieve their goals is both a passion and an honour. Each assessment is different and creating a pathway for success is exciting each time I do one. 

I have enjoyed a varied career from counselling children and adults in acute crisis, processing traumatic events, group settings and mental health issues, to working within the school districts to assess and consult on a multitude of disorders in different classroom settings. Each of those experiences has built my skills, knowledge and compassion for helping. This last decade, has been a thrilling adventure of professional growth and experiences. 

Clients of all ages and stages are welcome for assessments and consultation. My counselling sessions are best suited for older children, teens and adults as I am not set up for play therapy at this time. I have special interest in teenagers, prenatal and postnatal adjustment, neurodivergent affirming care, grief and loss, and end of life counselling.
